While Mother’s Day is a holiday celebrated worldwide, it is not uncommon for many countries, including Latin American ones, to celebrate Mother’s Day on other days of the year. However, a significant increase in search terms related to the Mother’s Day holiday suggests that US Hispanics celebrated this past Sunday with the rest of Americans.

Searches for “Floristerías” (Spanish for flower shops)  on the YaSabe website increased over 140% during the Mother’s Day weekend, ranking as one of the top 5 searched term for YaSabe users during the weekend. Probably also related to the holiday, searches for manicures and beauty salons grew 54% and 21% respectively. Both are signs of “ready-to-buy” Hispanics increasingly searching online in order to find local product and services.
